Ah, this film hasn't left my mind since Peter Chung wrote about it...what was it...Over one and a half years ago (goodness how time flies) - It was this film (and, well, largely Peter's writing as well) that changed my attitude towards art and animation. I'm working towards watching it for a second time one day, heh.

  2. I'm also grateful to Peter for pointing it out, and have great respect for his explanation of the film's merits. Regardless of your opinion of the film's validity, or your interpretation of its meaning or lack thereof (I myself am still a mixture of amazed and puzzled), in this age saturated with media it's remarkable how galvanizing and unforgettable this film manages to be.
